CONSTRUCTION PRICE INDEX
4th Quarter 2009
Highlights

The Construction Price Index, which stood at 100.2 in September 2009 increased by 0.1% or 0.1 point during the 4th quarter of 2009 to reach 100.3 in December 2009.

2. On a monthly basis, the index increased by 0.1% in October and remained unchanged in November and December 2009.

3. During the quarter, no change was registered in the sub-indices for “Labour”, “Hire of plant” and “Transport” categories while the “Materials” sub index increased by 0.1%, or 0.1 point in October due to higher prices of paint (3.1%) and adhesive (0.3%).
