The Government Web Portal is the main gateway for the delivery of integrated services to citizens, non-citizens, businesses and the Government. It is the main point of entry for users to access Government information and services online round-the-clock, including the interactive applications. The Government Web Portal brings together the Government services and presents them in a way that is coherent, user-friendly and practical for the users.
The Non-Citizen Sub-Portal (http://noncitizen.gov.mu) is a platform which allows for interactions between non-citizens and the Government. This gateway provides tailor-made information and services to:
tourists visiting Mauritius;
foreigners interested to make an application for permanent residence in Mauritius, under the Permanent Residence Scheme;
foreign professionals interested to work in Mauritius;
foreigners interested to study in Mauritius; and
potential foreign promoters interested to invest in Mauritius.
The Non-Citizen Sub-Portal also contains the following features:

The GOC and the Government Web Portal will thus be beneficial to non-citizens by:
