The Central Information Systems Division (CISD), formerly known as Data Processing Division (DPD), was created in 1971. CISD has 2 main sections namely the Technical section (Analyst cadre) and the Operations section (Technical Support and Data Entry cadre).
There are also the Registry and the Finance sections.

Quality Policy

The Operations section received its ISO Certification MS ISO 9001:2000 in 2004.


The Quality Policy of CISD is to provide responsive, timely ICT support services to government institutions in well-framed, efficient and cost-effective manner. CISD will focus on customer-satisfaction through continual improvement of its services and continuous upgrading of skills and infrastructure in a conducive and harmonious environment.
