TABLEAU DE BORD

The present “Tableau de Bord” or Dashboard offers snapshots of key performance indicators compiled by the Central Statistics Office (CSO) and other organizations whether local or foreign. Our objective in producing the Dashboard is to put useful information in the hands of policymakers, researchers, students and the general public.

The indicators that have been selected are those considered to be the most closely watched performance indicators available on trends in development and are grouped into tables according to main themes. They are meant to provide a comprehensive, up-to-date picture of the social and economic situation of the country. The CSO expects the coverage to evolve and grow in future, reflecting emerging issues in the economy and greater availability of data.

The tables show indicators in the form of time series and have been updated to reflect the latest figures available. Most indicators are given on a yearly basis. However, when available, indicators are also given on a monthly and/or quarterly basis.
