The Local Government Service Commission Act 1975 provides that there shall be a Secretary to the Commission whose office shall be a public office.

The Responsible and Accounting Officer of the Local Government Service Commission is the Secretary.  Mr Roy JAUNKY is the Secretary of the Local Government Service Commission.

The Local Government Service Commission Act 1975 also provides that the other staff posted to the Commission shall be public officers.
