1. What is the main role of the MAB?
  MAB acts as the internal consultancy arm of the Government. It provides its services free of charge to Public Sector organisations.
   
2. Is MAB an ISO 9001:2000 Certificated organisation?
 

In fact, MAB is the first Public Sector organisation to be ISO certificated, a landmark in the history of the public service.

   
3. In what fields can MAB provide expert advice?
 

Organisational development, Total Quality Management systems, Strategic Planning, Job inspection and evaluation, training and development, financial accounting services, project management, change management, business process re-engineering, corporate governance.

   
4. What is the difference between the MAB and the National Audit Office (NAO)?
 

The National Audit Office (ex-Director of Audit Department) acts as the external auditor to Public Sector organizations while the MAB acts as an internal management consultant. The NAO derives its powers from the Constitution whereas MAB carries its assignments only after request from the client.
