Activities

• Assisting the Senior Chief Executive and the Permanent Secretary in the general administration of the Ministry in so far as finance, stores and transport are concerned.
   

• Computerisation Projects

• Coordinating budget proposals on the size of establishment in the Civil Service with the Ministry of Finance and Economic Development.
   

• Processing requests from Ministries and Departments for creation and abolition of posts.

• Processing contracts of employment with a view to ensuring as far as possible uniformity.
   

• Assisting the Senior Chief Executive in the publication of the Mauritius Public Sector Newsletter and other magazines.
   

• To update the Ministry's Website

• Liaising with  appropriate international organisations.
   

• Coordination of welfare activities for Public Officers.
