The Mauritius Institute of Health Documentation Unit, including the Library, the Electronic Library and the Video Library plays an important role in the research and training activities of the MIH. The main objective of the MIH Documentation Unit is to provide information and other library facilities to MIH staff, participants following courses at the MIH and to the health and medical personnel of the health sector.

Library

The Library comprises mainly of collection of books, journals, statistical reports, reports of studies and theses. The books are classified according to the National Library of Medicine Classification Scheme. The Library subscribes to 13 journals on different medical and health sciences.

eLibrary

The Electronic section has a collection of CD Rom on different medical and health subject.

Video Library

The Video Library has a collection of over hundred videotapes on different health and health related sciences.
