| Creation of Energy Services Division The Energy Services Division was created in 1981 by grouping the Hospital maintenance staff of the Ministry of Health & Quality of Life and the Electrical Section of the Telecommunication Department. Staffing The Division's staff comprises a Chief Engineer, one Deputy Chief Engineer, two Prinicipal Engineers, three Senior Electrical Engineers, staff of the Technician and Inspectorate grades, Electricians, Plant Mechanics, Tradesman's Assistants and supporting staff of the Finance & Stores, Personnel and General Services Cadres. However in emergency cases we will still ensure that the electrical work are carried out and the provision warrant will be required from the Ministry/Department. It is to be noted also that works are carried out in Government Owed Buildings only. Consultancy Services We provide free consultancy services to Ministries/Departments in all aspects of electrical works such as electrical installations, air conditioning and refrigeration, standby generators, UPS’s, water pumps, lifts, autoclaves, incinerators amongst others in Government Owed Buildings only.
