Infotech 2004 aimed at creating greater awareness on latest technologies and promoting the widespread diffusion of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in Mauritius.

The objectives of the event were to: 

• showcase and spread emerging technologies

• increase awareness on the potential applications of ICT and choice of technology for effective business solutions

• provide information on developments in the ICT sector in Mauritius 

• demonstrate and promote local talents, expertise, know-how and export potential

• sensitise on career opportunities in the ICT sector

• offer a meeting platform for local ICT operators to develop collaboration and deals with potential partners and customers
