OFFICE POLICY & OBJECTIVES

Our Quality Policy is to provide a high quality service to our customer and meet the requirements of our mission.

OUR QUALITY OBJECTIVES are:-


To deliver a Mauritius passport to an applicant by the eighth day as from the receipt of the application provided al the criteria for the issuance of such passport have been met with. However, in urgent cases (such as to undergo treatment abroad and to attend funeral, etc), the Passport and Immigration Officer will deliver the passport within a lesser period subject to urgency of the case.

To process within 60 seconds a normal passenger who complies with all immigration requirements.

To deliver residence permit within 45 days to an eligible non-citizen upon approval from Secretary for Home Affairs or relevant Ministry, provided the required documents are produced together with the application.

To deliver a visa (entry permit) within 5 working days to a non-citizen who requires a visa to enter Mauritius, provided relevant documents are produced.

Passengers who are in breach of the relevant legislation, shall not be treated as our normal customers and as such our quality objectives will not be applicable to them
