The Police Band is a specialised branch of the Mauritius Police Force and is located at vacoas. In fact, it can operate as a Military Band, a Marching Band, a String Orchestra as well as an up to date Pop Group with guitars and percussions featuring a modern pop sound. It has large repertoire of classical and light music as well as Indian and other universal musical trends including also the typical local music like the sega and others of a more or less similar identity. |
