SCOPE
The unit is responsible for formulating an IT strategy for the Police Department covering whole spectrum of information technology (information and computer network management, computerization and training of police officers in IT).
It caters for electronic and computer-related crimes (Cyber Crime) which are inevitably becoming a challenge to the Force.
COMPOSITION
The IT Unit operates under the Police Headquarters.
