The Radiation Protection Authority (RPA) is a public body administered and managed by the Radiation Protection Council (RPC) which comprises of a Chairman and representatives of relevant Ministries and organisations. The Chief Radiation Protection Officer (CRPO) is the Chief Executive Officer of the Authority and is responsible for the control and management of its day-to-day business. In the exercise of his functions, the CRPO shall act in accordance with such directives as he may receive from the RPC.
