In accordance with the Radiation Protection (Registration of Radiation Sources and Facilities) Regulations 2009, every owner of a sealed source, radiation generator and radiation facility shall apply for its registration to the RPA.

Application for Importation of Radiation Sources

It is mandatory to hold a valid Import Permit issued by the RPA prior to the importation of any source of ionising radiation. Any person who intends to import a radiation source is therefore requested to submit a duly filled-in application form to this Authority.

Application for Exportation of Radioactive Sources

It is mandatory to hold a valid Export Permit issued by the RPA prior to the exportation of any radioactive source. Any person who intends to export a radioactive source is therefore requested to submit a duly filled-in application form to this Authority.

Radiological Incident/Accident Notification

The Authority should be notified, as soon as practicable, but within 24 hours, of any radiological incident/accident which involved sources of ionising radiation. The form may also be used to request assistance from this Authority in case any radiological incident/accident. However, for any emergency assistance you may also call on 208-0307 or 254-0477.
