The Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Honourable Mohammed Asraf Ally Dulull, is an Associate Member of Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants, since January 1991. After the successful completion of his secondary studies at St Mary’s College, Rose Hill, he took employment at the Income Tax Department and appointed Inspector of Taxes in 1983. He became Investigating Officer in 1991, Senior Investigating Officer in 1995, Acting Chief Investigating Officer in 1999 and Deputy Commissioner in 2003 at Large Taxpayer Department. He had been Project Manager, Implementation Team-Mauritius Revenue Authority in 2004. He also worked in Australia at HBA as Accounts Officer in 1987 and Lecturer in “Accounting and Finance” at Victoria University of Technology in 1995. He had also been Technical Support Manager at Strategic Planning International Ltd. in 2001 and in 2002, Director of Fiscal Services at Nexia, Baker & Arenson.
Honourable Dulull stepped into active politics in early 2005 and at his first attempt in the National Assembly Elections of July 2005 he was elected as MP in the Constituency No 3 - Port Louis Maritime and Port Louis East. He was appointed Minister of Housing and Lands on the 7th of July 2005.
Hon. Dulull lists soccer, tennis, swimming, horse riding, art and music among his interests. He has been an Executive Committee Member of "Century Welfare Association" since 1980 and “Association Sportive Port Louis 2000” since year 1999. He is married and has two Children.
