Goods – Onions, Potatoes (in all forms), turmeric (in all forms), cardamom, peeled tomatoes, bean seeds, onion seeds, vegetables (carrots & cabbages) among others.

AMB has a list of regular suppliers for each of its controlled products. All these suppliers are contacted and requested for quotations with a deadline set for submission of offers by sending their faxed tenders on a fax machine which is kept in a room secured with dual lock.
After a deadline, a team comprising of three head of sections open and evaluate the tenders received and submit their recommendations to the Tender and Finance Committee or the Supplies Committees for approval, except for urgencies where the General Manager and Chairman of Supplies Committee altogether approved the procurement. |
