Mr. Avinash Meetoo

Avinash Meetoo is the Founder and Managing-Director of Knowledge Seven, provider of quality consultancy, support and training for open source software such as Linux, PHP/MySQL, Java and HTML5/Android. Previously, he was a Lecturer in Computer Science at tertiary level where he taught advanced software developments and a Consultant in one of the major consulting firms of the island. Avinash studied in France and has a Masters degree and an MPhil in Computer Science. Avinash founded the Linux User Group of Mauritius in 2000 and is an avid supporter of open source software as a means to decrease costs while increasing reliability and performance.
