Nokia's Developper Website Hacked

The online community used by developers of Nokia phone apps has been hacked, as stated on the website of ‘ BBC World' . The company has indicated that members' personal information such as date of birth, email addresses and other details that belong to developers of smartphones apps have been stolen.

According to Nokia, the hackers have been able to access a database table containing members' information by exploiting a vulnerability within the bulletin board software, thus allowing them to cause an SQL Injection attack. The company also added that sensitive information like credit card details and passwords were not included in the database.

Nokia is carrying out investigations regarding this security breach and the website has been temporarily shut down.
