 Beware: “bitly.com” on Facebook

A link known as “bitly.com” is posted on Facebook users' wall. This link indicates that a friend of the user has tagged him / her. However, when you will try to remove the link, it would not allow removal. If you click on the link, your computer will be infected. Note that “bitly.com” is a website redirector that allows links to be shortened, shared and tracked.

CERT-MU advises users not to click on the link or any links identified as source “bitly.com” since it can be a spam or can infect your machines with malicious programs.
