For the third consecutive day, BlackBerry users around the world have been experiencing further disruptions in service which have now spread further to Asia. European subscribers have reported problems with emails, messaging and browsing the ‘ Research In Motion' website. Further problems have also been detected in the Middle East countries including Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore and India.
A spokesperson of Research in Motion Ltd, the maker of BlackBerry devices said that the messaging and browsing delay problems that users experienced was caused by a core switch failure within RIM Infrastructure. He also added that the company is working on the cause in order to restore normal service as earliest possible.
However, hours after having issued a statement that BlackBerry was operating ‘normally', users complained of fresh crashes, as stated on the website of BBC World. Angry users posted messages on Twitter that they were having the same problem with their handsets and not able to send messages.
