	CERT/CC Home Page -

	The CERT® (Computer Emergency Response Team) Coordination Center (CERT/CC) is a center of Internet security expertise. It is located at the Software Engineering Institute, a federally funded research and development center operated by Carnegie Mellon University. Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) - A list of standardised names for vulnerabilities and other information security exposures - CVE aims to standardise the names for all publicly known vulnerabilities and security exposures.

	FIRST Home Page -

	Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST) is an international consortium of computer incident response and security teams who work together to handle computer security incidents and to promote preventive activities.

	ICAT Metabase -

	A searchable index of information on computer vulnerabilities. It provides search capability at a fine granularity and links users to vulnerability and patch information.

	Infosyssec -

	Computer Security Information Resource Portal - "The most comprehensive computer and network security resource on the Internet for Information System Security Professionals."

	NIPC -

	National Infrastructure Protection Center (NIPC) in the U.S. NIST Computer Security Resource Center - U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology computer security resource.

	Packet Storm -

	Security archives and library for building secure networks, penetration testing, vulnerability analysis, or learning about computer security.

	SANS (System Administration, Networking, and Security) Institute -

	A co-operative research and education organisation for system administrators, security professionals, and network administrators. It provides news, publications and courses/certification pertaining to computer and network security. Also, through GIAC (Global Incident Analysis Center), it regroups a community of security analysts examining and sharing information on computer security incidents.

	Security Focus -

	A website dedicated to providing comprehensive computer/ Internet security information to the Internet community. The focus is on user education and as such there is information useful to the non-technical layperson as well as the information security professional.
