
Display of Anti-Corruption Messages
In the context of the commemoration of the International Anti-Corruption Day 2010, 37 organisations both public and private in Mauritius and the Rodrigues Commission were invited to disseminate the following message through banners, electronic billboards, or websites etc.

A participation form was annexed whereby participants were invited to indicate the medium for dissemination of the message.
24 out of 37 organisations in Mauritius and the Commission for Social Security in Rodrigues responded positively whereas there was no response from the 13 organisations. The list of organisations which have showed interest to participate is found at annex 1and those that did not respond is at annex 2.
The medium of participation for the year 2010 is summarised below: 
Some 15 out of the 24 participating organisations displayed the messages by dissemination on the web site. The Mauritius Broadcasting Corporation disseminated the message on a national level through diffusion on TV and radio.
The Grand Port Savanne District Council displayed the message on banners in different regions like Mahebourg market, Chemin Grenier market and other conspicuous places in the region whereas the Moka Flacq District Council disseminated the message on its web site and on banner.. The Municipal Council of Quatre Bornes disseminated the message both on the web site and electronic billboards.
The Mauritius Revenue Authority disseminated the message through web site, banner, electronic billboards and LCD at the Head Office. The Development Bank of Mauritius and the Mauritius Post and Commercial Bank Ltd (MPCB Ltd) displayed the banner not only in Head Offices but in their other branches around the island.
Other medium of participation included mail to staff and display of message on notice board. The Information and Communication Technologies Authority, Central Electricity Board (CEB), Barclays Bank PLC and the Municipal Council of Curepipe sent the message through mail whereas the University of Mauritius also sent the message through mail to both its staff and students. The Commission for Social Security in Rodrigues displayed the message on notice boards. |
