In the context of the International Anti-Corruption Day, ICAC in collaboration with the Centre De Lecture Publique et D'Animation Culturelle (CELPAC) under the aegis of the Ministry of Arts & Culture organised a community-based project with participants from 12 CLAC centres in different regions of Mauritius. The theme of the anti-corruption project was ‘Strengthening Community Vigilance using Drama’. The event was organised on the 07th December 2010 at Serge Constantin Theatre, Vacoas.

Prior to this national anti-corruption event, five regional plays were staged at the community level in five different CLAC centres.   Three best plays were awarded and a certificate of participation was given to all groups.

It was an opportunity for artists from the grassroot to show their talents in matters regarding the national fight against corruption through drama. About 1500 people from the community were mobilized through this project.
