ICAC National Poster Competition for Lower Secondary Students

The Corruption Prevention and Education Division of the ICAC launched the 2nd edition of its National Poster Competition for Form II and III Students of all secondary schools in Mauritius and Rodrigues in March 2010. The theme of the competition is: “Promoting a corrupt free Mauritius”.  The objectives of the competition are, among others to

  • promote anti-corruption values and responsible citizenship
  • help students reflect on universal values such as honesty, respect and responsibility
  • allow students to express their ideas  and thoughts on universal values through a different and innovative medium such as visual arts.

As at 30 June 2010, that is the closing date, 238 posters have been received from 58 secondary schools of the Republic of Mauritius. The marking exercise by an independent jury panel will be carried out in July 2010. The prize giving ceremony is planned for August 2010.
