Our Services

To attain its strategic goals, CPED needs to build public support and work in partnership with all stakeholders. Consequently, we provide the required services to the best of our capacity and for the benefit of the population at large within the legal framework.

The CPED provides the following services in the fight against corruption:

Building corruption resistance. It conducts general awareness campaigns to enlighten the population on the dangers of corruption, reporting mechanism and protection of whistleblowers. A capacity building approach through education, training and material development, is privileged.

Corruption Prevention Management. The assistance available includes preparation of corruption prevention tools and best practice guides for organizations and advocacy services in strengthening systems in public bodies. Corruption prevention reviews are conducted with a view towards enhancing systems to reduce opportunities for corruption in public bodies.

Development of model code of conduct. The Division assists public bodies in the development of Codes of Conduct and Procedure Manual on request. It also provides organisational and management review guidelines.

Curriculum Enhancement. CPED is mandated to assist in enhancing the curriculum at all educational levels.

Contact and link services with anti-corruption bodies. CPED promotes links between the Commission and international organisations so as to foster international co-operation and technical assistance to ensure the effectiveness of actions in the fight against corruption.
