Entrepreneurship and Empowerment Seminar at UOM
The NCB Incubator Centre in collaboration with iBP –Pre Incubator Cell organised a seminar on 22 November 2007 at Burenchobay Hall, University of Mauritius, with the following theme “Be an Entrepreneur”.
The main objective of this seminar was to sensitise the students of UOM about the IBP-Pre Incubator cell and the services and facilities offered at Incubator centre. There were some 62 students who participated in the seminar at the Burenchobay Hall. Students were therefore informed about being their own boss through that sensitisation campaign.
Two of the graduated role models were present for the occasion to share their experiences about the Incubator Centre.

There were presentations conducted during the seminar in order to create awareness on the NCB ICT Incubator and the Pre-Incubator cell with the main objective to promote the culture of entrepreneurship. Students were able to learn more about the NCB Incubator Centre and learn how to develop their entrepreneurship skills.
