2.         Candidates should call in person at the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate, Réduit to fill in the entry forms.

 

3.         Candidates must enter for the five compulsory subjects, i.e, English, Mathematics, French, Science and History & Geography.  Candidates may enter for a sixth subject, that is, an Asian Language (Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Modern Chinese) or Arabic.

 

4.         Candidates below the age of 13 on 01 January 2011 may enter for the examination on producing evidence of having taken the CPE Examination previously.

 

5.                  Candidates who are below the age of 18 should produce their original Birth Certificate  and

 

Either

(a)   the MES Identity Card/NTA Student Identity Card together with one recent passport-size photograph (4 ½ cm x  5cm).

Or

(b)  two recent passport-size photographs (4 ½ cm x  5cm) bearing their name and signature and countersigned by one person who has known them personally for at least two years and who is either  member of the National Assembly, Medical Practitioner, Barrister-at-Law, Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public, Bank Manager, Principal of a recognized Educational Institution, Head Master, Police Officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent or Officer in the Public Service not below the rank of Assistant Secretary.

 

The person countersigning the photographs should give his/her own particulars as follows:

Name, Designation, Signature

 

6.         Candidates who are 18 years or above should produce their National Identity Card and original Birth Certificate. 

 

7.         No entry fee is claimed from candidates who register on the above-mentioned dates.  A late entry fee of Rs131/- will be claimed for entries received after the prescribed date limit.
