CITY & GUILDS JULY/AUGUST 2011 EXAMINATIONS

Entries for the above examinations will be received between 0900 hours and 1400 hours at the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES), Réduit as follows:

 

 

Entries:   Wednesday 8, Thursday 9 and Friday 10 June 2011

 

 

 

 

Late Entries:  Thursday 16 June 2011

 

 

 

2.

Candidates following courses at City & Guilds registered centres must contact their respective centres.

 

3.

Private Candidates taking Theory Papers are requested to call in person at the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate, Réduit, to fill in the entry forms and pay the appropriate examination fees. They should also produce their “Notification of Candidate Enrolment” Form or Enrolment Number available on certificate(s) and result slip(s) for examinations taken previously.

Payment of fees should be made in cash or by means of an office cheque issued by a bank and drawn to the order of the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate.

 

5.

Candidates aged 18 years and above should submit their National Identity Card and original Birth Certificate.  Those under 18 should submit their original Birth Certificate and

 

 

 

 

Either

(a)  the Identity/Admission Card issued by the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate or   by the NTA together with one passport-sized photograph (4½ cm x 5cm),

 

 

 

 

Or

(b) two recent passport-sized photographs bearing their name and signature and countersigned by one

     person who has known them personally for at least two years and who is either member of the

     National Assembly, Medical Practitioner, Barrister-at-law, Attorney-at-law, Notary Public,

     Bank Manager, Principal of a recognised Educational Institution, Head Teacher, Police Officer not

     below the rank of Assistant Superintendent or Officer in the Public Service not below the rank of

     Assistant Secretary.

 

 

 

      The person countersigning the photographs should give his/ her own particulars as follows:

                Name, Designation and Signature.

Married women should also produce their Marriage Certificate.

 

      NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THURSDAY 16 JUNE 2011.

 

Very Important Notice:  The examinations will start on Monday 25 July 2011.  Centre candidates who have not received their timetable by Tuesday 19 July 2011 are requested to call at their respective centres to collect same, whereas private candidates should call at the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate on Wednesday 20 July 2011.
