Telecommunications

Telecommunications facilities such as International Direct Dialling (IDD), Facsimile, internet service and pre-paid card public phones will be available at the Conference Centre as well as the Media Centre.

International Roaming Arrangements exist with the following countries:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Côte d’Ivoire, Cyprus, Czech Rep, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Israel, Indonesia, India, Italy, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Morocco, Mozambique, Namibia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Reunion, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Slovakia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Seychelles, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Zimbabwe.

Delegates who have GSM terminals operating in the 900 MHz band will be able to connect to the GSM network in Mauritius, whereas those who have GSM operating on 1800 MHz band will be able to connect to Cellplus provided their terminals (GSM phones) are of dual band.
