The Cyber Caravan

Launched in November 2000, the Cyber Caravan Project aims at making IT facilities available in the most isolated areas in Mauritius through NCB's Cyber Caravans. The NCB presently operates two Cyber Caravanes, which are equipped with 9 and 10 PCs respectively and Internet connection. MQA registered IT animators provide training on board according to the needs of people, regardless of age, education background or profession.

As at 12th January 2006, more than 42 500  persons have followed ICT Literacy and ICT Awareness Courses
