Careers
This page provides information on current employment
opportunities at the Financial Services Commission. The Financial Services Commission is the regulator
for the non bank financial services. It has responsibility under the law to
protect the integrity and stability of all non bank financial services and
the interest of investors and consumers. In the pursuit of our objectives we have begun to implement a new and integrated approach to regulation based on a risk-assessment of entities we regulate. This new approach seeks to identify and focus regulatory efforts on institutions and activities that are likely to pose the greatest risk to our objectives of ensuring integrity, stability and confidence in the system and to act upon them in an integrated manner. At the same time we want to regulate in a manner to minimize risks to which investors may be unduly exposed, without however imposing undue regulatory constraints on companies in the sector.
Crucial to our effectiveness are our Licensing, Surveillance, Enforcement, Policy Research and other support units.
