Private flight
Private
flight operators operating in Mauritius for the transportation of
delegates should apply for permission to the Director of Civil Aviation
well in advance (preferably 7 working days before the flight) at
the following address:

The following information must be included in the
application:
1. Name and postal billing address of operator
2. Type of aircraft and registration mark
3. Names, nationalities and passport numbers of all crew members
4. Names, nationalities and passport numbers of all would-be passengers
on the aircraft
5. Status of passengers, for example, any VVIP on board
6. Estimated Time of Arrival and Estimated Time of Departure
7. Maximum take-off weight (MTOW) of aircraft
8. Copy of insurance certificate against third party risks
State flights
Requests for flights by State aircraft should be made via diplomatic
channel. Such requests should be made at least seven days in advance
of the flight and addressed to:

4. Status of passengers, for example, any VVIP on board
5. Estimated Time of Arrival and Estimated Time of Departure
Arrangements would be made by the Airports of Mauritius Limited for parking
facilities to be available for private aircraft of Heads of State and Government.
The Special Mobile Force will provide armed sentry over all private
aircraft.
Delegations
are invited to slot their arrival between 10 00 and 18 00 hours.
