Yellow Fever vaccination certificates are compulsorily required from visitors travelling from or through infected areas. Mauritius is a malaria-free country. However, delegates from malaria-prone countries will be monitored.

The Ministry of Health and Quality of Life will be responsible for the co-ordination of medical facilities during the Donors Conference.

Special medical facilities including a fully equipped ambulance service will be available at the airport and the Conference Centre.

The Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam National Hospital, which is about 10 minutes from the Conference Centre will provide a 24-hour emergency service.
