The Nelson Mandela Centre for African Culture Trust Fund Website is the last in the series of initiatives dedicated to the advancement of African and Creole Culture in Mauritius.
Since its opening in 1986, the Centre has played an important role in projecting a positive image of African and Creole culture in Mauritius, promoting the richness and variety of African and Creole Arts and Culture by various forms of cultural and social activities through exhibitions, publications, meetings, talks, and the performing arts.

A l’occasion de la
« Journée Mondiale de la Paix », l’artiste pluridisciplinaire Nirveda Alleck organise l’exposition « We have lost the way » au Centre Culturel Nelson Mandela, le 28 de ce mois. Cette exposition, organisée en collaboration avec « Puma Peace Films » réunit autour de Nirveda Alleck les artistes Salim Currimjee, Giovanni Lallmahomed, Kavinash Thomoo, Oliver Maingard et Kishore Bodha.

The films4peace screening at the Nelson Mandela Center for African Culture is part of an exhibition entitled
'We Have Lost the Way," organized by Nirveda Alleck through Arts Initiatives, and includes 6 Mauritian artists as well as the films. The exhibition is being sponsored by the MTPA (Mauritius Tourism Promotions Authority), the Sofitel So Hotel, and Grays Inc.
