INVITATION TO TENDER

Supply, Installation, Configuration and Commissioning of IT Equipment

1. The NATIONAL COMPUTER BOARD (NCB) invites proposal from bidders for the Supply, Installation, Configuration and Commissioning of IT Equipment at the National Computer Board.

2. Bidders may obtain tender documents from the office of the NCB, 7th floor, Stratton Court, La Poudrière Street, Port Louis or by downloading here.(pdf-326KB )

3. All proposals must be accompanied by an original bid security of Mauritian Rupees 50,000. The Bid Security must be submitted in the technical proposal envelope and valid for 150 days beyond the closing date of the tender.

4. Quotations must be valid for a period of 120 days beyond the closing date of the tender and should be inclusive of all taxes

5. Bidders are requested to submit their bids in two separate sealed envelopes clearly marked "TECHNICAL PROPOSAL" and "FINANCIAL PROPOSAL" respectively on the top left-hand corner. Sealed envelopes containing the bids and marked "Ref: RFP No. 09/0405" also on the top left hand corner, addressed to the Executive Director, National Computer Board should be deposited in the tender box situated in the National Computer Board's Office, 7th Floor, Stratton Court, La Poudrière Street, Port Louis by Friday 29th October 2004 to 15.00 hours at latest.

6. Bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.

7. The NCB reserves the right to:

(a) accept or reject any proposal;
(b) not to order all the items;
(c) split the contract; and
(d) annul the tender process and reject all proposals at any time prior to award of
the contract, without thereby incurring any
(i) liability towards any bidder
(ii) obligation to inform any bidder of the grounds for the NCB's action.
