1.
The National Computer Board (NCB) is setting up an ICT
Resource Centre in Goodlands, with the mission to enhance
knowledge in ICT among different segments of the population to
build up an information-based society.
2.
The NCB is hereby
inviting bids from interested companies for the partitioning of
the Goodlands Resource Centre and supply of furniture as detailed
in the tender document, RFP 32/0405.
3.
The tender document
can be collected from the NCB office, 7th Floor,
Stratton Court, La Poudriere Street, Port Louis or can also be
downloaded here.
4.
A site visit will be
held on Thursday 28th April 2005 and bidders are
requested to confirm with the NCB if they are attending the site
visit. The site plan is found in the tender document.
5.
Bidders are requested
to submit their bids in two separate sealed envelopes
clearly marked “TECHNICAL PROPOSAL” and “FINANCIAL PROPOSAL”
respectively on the top left-hand corner. The following reference
must be quoted on both envelopes, "Ref: Partitioning and furniture
for NCB ICT Resource Centre in Goodlands-RFP 32/0405". Quotations
must be addressed to the Executive Director and submitted in the
tender box located at the National Computer Board, 7th
Floor, Stratton Court, Poudriere Street, Port Louis.
6.
Bidders should
submit their proposals at latest by Wednesday 4th May
2005 by 15:00 hrs.
7.
Proposals should be
valid for a period of 120 days beyond the closing date of the
tender.
8.
All proposals
must be accompanied by an original bid security of Mauritian
Rupees 25,000. The bid security must be submitted with your
technical proposal and be valid for a period of 150 days beyond
the closing date of the tender.
9.
The National Computer
Board reserves the right (a) to accept or reject any bid (b) to
split the tender (c) to stagger the delivery of the furniture (d)
not to order all items and (e) annul the RFP process and reject
all bids, at any point of time, prior to the award of contract,
without thereby incurring (i) any liability to any bidder (ii) any
obligation to inform the bidder, about the grounds of such action.
