1. The NATIONAL COMPUTER BOARD (NCB) invites proposal from bidders for the Supply, Installation, Configuration and Commissioning of two heavy-duty photocopy machines. One will be installed at the National Computer Board, 7^th Floor, Stratton Court, Port Louis and the other at the Government Online Centre, 5^th Floor, Ebene Cyber Tower.

2. Bidders may obtain the tender documents from the office of the NCB, 7^th floor, Stratton Court, La Poudrière Street, Port Louis on weekdays during working hours or by downloading here

3. Quotations must be valid for a period of 120 days beyond the closing date of the tender and should be inclusive of all taxes.

4. Bidders are requested to submit their bids in a sealed envelope clearly marked “RFP No. 31/0405” on the top left-hand corner addressed to the Executive Director, National Computer Board should be deposited in the tender box situated in the National Computer Board’s Office, 7^th Floor, Stratton Court, La Poudrière Street, Port Louis by Tuesday 17^th May 2005 at 15:00 hrs.

5. Bids received after the specified time and date will not be considered.

6. The Bidder shall furnish, as part of its technical proposal, an original bid security in the amount of Mauritian Rupees (Rs) 40,000.

7. The NCB reserves the right to:

 (a)  accept or reject any proposal;

(b)  not to order all the items;

(c) split the contract; and

(d) annul the tender process and reject all proposals at any time prior to award of

the contract, without thereby incurring any

(i)                   liability towards any bidder

(ii)                 obligation to inform any bidder of the grounds for the NCB’s action.
