Workshop on Youngsters Online: Role of School
The National Computer Board/CERT-MU hosted a workshop on a theme ‘Youngsters Online: Role of School’ in collaboration with the Ministry of Education & Human Resources and Microsoft Indian Ocean Islands on 22nd of June 2010 at the MGI, Moka targeting rectors and Managers of State and Private Secondary Schools. The workshop was officially opened by the Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Hon. Tassarajen Pillay Chedumbrum.
On this occasion, a brochure and a poster on “Internet Safety & Online Security”, was officially launched by the Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Hon. Tassarajen Pillay Chedumbrum , the Executive Director of the National Computer Board, Mr Dan Faugoo and the Country Manager of Microsoft India Ocean Islands, Mr. Michel Cordani.

The ICT Indicators Web Portal and Newsletter was launched by the Honourable Minister of Information and Communication Technology during a workshop held on the 15th April 2010 at Clos St Louis, Domaines Les Pailles. CERT-MU hosted a workshop on “Vulnerability Management” on 25th February 2010 at La Canelle, Domaine Les Paille targeting IT professionals, System Administrators, IT Auditors and Information Security Practitioners.
