Visit of delegation from Department of Science & Technology-India
A high level delegation from the Department of Science and Technology (DST) of India has visited Mauritius from 17 to 19 March 2010 to explore the possibilities of potential areas of co-operation between the two countries, including establishment of Science and technology incubators, sugar cane research and technologies.
The delegation included the following scientists and experts:
(i) Dr. R. P. Jagdale, Professor, University of Pune (Expert, S&T Enterprenerurship Park);
(ii) Dr. A. J. Verma, Scientist "G", NCL, Pune (Expert Sugarcane Research and Technology); and
(iii) Dr. Arvind Kumar, Scientist "D", International Cooperation, Dept of S&T (overall coordinator of S & T cooperation with Mauritius)
