Welcome to the Mauritius Science Portal – an innovative initiative of the Minister of Industry, Science and Research. The main aim of this portal is to promote and disseminate scientific information among researchers, policy makers, students and the wider community.

Science is knowledge and the creation, dissemination and application of new knowledge is a key driver in the global economy and is essential for the development of humanity. My Ministry is committed to raise the profile of science in our society and we will support all initiatives towards the creation of associations, networks and discussion groups among young scientists. We also invite every citizen to get involved in the science policy making process.
